The Department of Computer Science at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) in Rolla, Missouri, invites applications for multiple tenured and tenure-track faculty positions. These include a tenured associate professor position and a tenure-track assistant professor position. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and algorithms/theory. Strong candidates in other areas that complement and enhance the department’s current strengths, such as theory, systems, and applications, including data science, cybersecurity, bioinformatics, cyber-human-physical systems, high-performance computing, pervasive and mobile computing, software engineering, and quantum computing, will also be considered.
Missouri S&T’s Department of Computer Science has a proud 50+ year history of positively impacting society through ground-breaking research and advancing the quality and breadth of its educational mission, granting an ABET-accredited BS, as well as MS and PhD degrees. An active recruitment strategy has resulted in the department being one of the largest programs on campus, with over 700 undergraduates, 150 graduate students, and more than 20 faculty members whose diverse expertise creates outstanding opportunities for collaboration and mentorship.
Qualifications
Candidates are required to hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
